Monster Hunter: World for PC is NOW Available!

Monster Hunter: World is critically acclaimed as one of the most anticipated and exciting games this year. Console gamers have had been mastering their skills and equipment and collecting trophies and insignia and memorabilia for over a decade. Capcom and everyone behind Monster Hunter have finally come to an agreement. It’s time to invite PC gamers into the realm of monster hunting and of course, social-networking.

Monster Hunter : World (PC) – Available to Download

It has been a month or so since they proudly announced the date of release of Monster Hunter: World on PC. The digital copy of the game was sold on several platforms such as Green Man Gaming and of course, Steam. Despite being sold at other places, one still needs to download it from Steam. Other platforms provide you with the serial/key which you need to download the game later. Monster Hunter: World for PC was set to release on August 9th 2018.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is according to US timezone. It means gamers in Asia have had to wait until August 10th for the game to be available to be downloaded.

It’s August 10th already!!

Those who have pre-purchased a copy of Monster Hunter: World Deluxe Edition are going to start and embark their journey with special downloadable contents (DLC) such as armors, equipment, gears, charms, accessories and many more. Here are the things that some of us are gonna enjoy upon succeeding with the pre-order and/or of they have purchased the deluxe version of the game;

Pre-order Bonuses:

  • Origin Set: The Origin Set armor is a nostalgic must-have for series fans. This full armor set (head, chest, arms, waist, and legs) comes with enough defense to carry you through the early quests, and also features plenty of skills useful for gathering.
  • Fair Wind Charm: The Fair Wind charm carries a skill that increases your attack power, and one that adds a chance of reducing the damage you take. The charm also has a nice visual impact, as equipping it will add a glowing aura effect to your left arm!

Digital Deluxe Edition:

  • Samurai Set: Layered armor sets will change the look of your armor without changing the properties underneath. Equip this Samurai set over your favorite armor to take on the striking appearance of a feudal Japanese samurai warrior! (Note : No weapons are included with this set)
  • 1st Gesture: Zen
  • 2nd Gesture: Ninja Star
  • 3rd Gesture: Sumo Slap
  • Sticker Set: MH All-Stars Set
  • Sticker Set: Sir Loin Set
  • Face Paint: Wyvern
  • Hairstyle: Topknot

If you’re new (like me) to Monster Hunter, it’s best to somehow learn the tips and tricks before you jump right into fighting monsters and get killed. I mean, get your kills. =p Look no further, rockpapershotgun.com has written a cool guide for beginners to master the basics and the things you would wanna do/accomplish first on the early stages of the game. Check out the links I highlighted. You’re welcome. ^^
